We have a great opportunity to have Financial Beginnings come for three weeks starting on the 21st.  They will teach your child about financial planning, money and future planning with money.

There is also a reading log if you would like to keep extra copies at your home for your child to fill out.

I-PADS-Your child will receive an I-Pad if they returned their form, paid the $15.00, have a case and ear buds.  We will be using these throughout the day so it is important this happens as soon as possible.  By the end of the month, the district should be handing these out all students.

Here is the new math web program students are using during part of their 70 minute math block.  You can log in here.  All students have a username and password.  This should be written into their planner.

Here are some pictures of my summer.  We traveled to Japan and Canada.

Week of March 3 - 7th

I-pads are here!  WE have been all working hard to learn how to use these in the most effective learning way.  All kids have been assigned a gmail account and will be using this as long as they remain in Parkrose.

As the year progresses, I hope that I can assign groups for kids where they can access tasks and learning apps for their needs.

Yesterday we went to Wilkes Park.  We helped plant and mulch.  It was great seeing them work hard.  There is a family day this Saturday if you would like to attend.

Friday-No School/Work Day/Report Cards
Thursday/Friday-March 13th/14th-Conferences. Please come on time with your child.
